Section titled “End User Licence Agreement”By downloading, installing, or using this application, you agree to the terms below.
1. Licence
Section titled “1. Licence”GivLocal grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable licence to use the application on your own device for your own household or business purposes. This licence does not transfer ownership of the software or any related content.
2. Scope of the application
Section titled “2. Scope of the application”The application is designed to communicate with compatible GivEnergy equipment over a local network. The application does not guarantee that any specific device, system, or feature will be accessible at all times.
3. Dependence on local control
Section titled “3. Dependence on local control”The application depends on the availability of local control on the relevant device. Local control must be enabled on the target equipment and remain available for the application to work. If local control is not enabled, is disabled, is restricted, is removed, or is blocked by the device manufacturer, the operator, the equipment owner, or any third party, the application may stop working or lose functionality. This may happen without notice and does not mean the application is defective.
4. No guarantee of continued access

No guarantee of continued access”The application is not responsible for any interruption, loss of access, or loss of functionality caused by changes in the equipment, network configuration, firmware, manufacturer policy, local control settings, or other third-party actions. The application does not promise uninterrupted access to any device or service.
5. No warranty
Section titled “5. No warranty”The application is provided as is and as available. To the extent permitted by law, the application and its developer provide no warranty, express or implied, that the application will be suitable for any particular purpose, that it will remain available, or that it will work with every device or configuration.
6. Limitation of liability

Limitation of liability”To the extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, loss of use, loss of income, loss of business, or loss of profit, arising from the use of the application or from any failure of the application to function due to third-party restrictions, device changes, or loss of local access.
7. Termination
Section titled “7. Termination”This licence may be terminated if you breach these terms. On termination, you must stop using the application and delete or destroy any copies in your possession.
8. Governing law
Section titled “8. Governing law”These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, or the law of the country in which the application is sold or distributed, as applicable. If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protection rights that cannot be excluded by contract.
